The runner's calendar is packed for the middle of this year, ranging from health runs and charity runs to fancy dress runs that transport you into a world of fun. We have compiled the most interesting running events for the second half of 2026.
1. GPO Run for 60th Anniversary
Date: Sunday, July 12, 2026
Location: Government Pharmaceutical Organization (Rama VI), Bangkok
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Government Pharmaceutical Organization, health-conscious runners are invited to join the GPO Run for 60th Anniversary 2026 along a beautiful route on Ratchadamnoen Nok Road and the Rama VIII Bridge. There are three distances to choose from: a 21 km half marathon (฿850), a 10 km mini marathon (฿600), and a 5 km micro marathon (฿500). Additionally, there is a VIP package available for all three distances at ฿2,000, which includes a bag, hat, and food. The 21 km race flags off at 03:30 AM, and the award ceremony will take place on stage at 07:00 AM.

2. ALL MEMBER MILK RUN PRESENTED BY 7-ELEVEN
Date: Sunday, July 12, 2026
Location: Vachirabenjatas Park (Rot Fai Park), Bangkok
A special fun run from 7-ELEVEN held in the lush atmosphere of Vachirabenjatas Park (Rot Fai Park) at no cost. It is perfect for runners of all levels looking to get out, have fun, and improve their health over the weekend.
Distance: 5 KM and 3 KM (Free!)
3. BANGKOK POST INTERNATIONAL MINI MARATHON 2026 : RUN FOR NURSES (15th Edition)
Date: Sunday, July 19, 2026
Location: Suan Luang Rama IX, Gate 4 (Dao Rueang), Bangkok
The 15th annual international running event organized by the Bangkok Post, held at Suan Luang Rama IX, one of Bangkok's most popular running spots. There are three distances to choose from: 10 KM (฿650), 5 KM (฿550), and 3 KM (฿550). This event is suitable for runners of all levels who wish to support the nursing profession.

4. Disney Run Thailand 2026
Date: Sunday, July 19, 2026
Location: Rama VIII Bridge, Bangkok
Disney Run Thailand 2026 is an exciting running event from the world of Disney held in the area of Rama VIII Bridge, Bangkok. Runners are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters and join the fun in this fancy run atmosphere. There are two distances to choose from: 10 KM and 5 KM, making it perfect for families and Disney fans.

5. Run To School 2026

Location: Suan Luang Rama IX, Bangkok
Run To School 2026 is an educational running event held at Suan Luang Rama IX, Bangkok. Registration is open for both 10 KM and 5 KM distances at a price of ฿558 per distance. 6. ALM RUN 2026 Hero’s Route, Ayutthaya Half Marathon

Location: King Naresuan the Great Monument, Ayutthaya Province

7. Counterpain Scenic Half Marathon Chiang Mai 2026

A scenic half marathon held during the cool weather in Chiang Mai, on a route passing through Royal Park Rajapruek amidst nature and a wide variety of flowers. It is ideal for runners who want to relax and run in the cool air of the North.

8. Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2026 (ATM BKK) The Run of the Year
Date: Saturday–Sunday, November 28–29, 2026
Location: Sanam Luang, Bangkok
The happy year-end marathon festival is back again with the Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok presented by TOYOTA Season 9, officially recognized as Thailand's world-class capital city marathon. The race is split over two days: Saturday, November 28 for the 21.1 km half marathon, and Sunday, November 29 for the 42.195 km full marathon, 10 km mini marathon, and 4.5 km Family Run.
The full marathon route starts and ends at Sanam Luang, passing through important Bangkok landmarks including the Grand Palace, Democracy Monument, Rama VIII Bridge, Victory Monument, Lumphini Park, Siam, Silom, and Sathorn. All roads are fully closed to traffic throughout the race, allowing runners to fully enjoy running on the roads in the heart of Bangkok.
This year, the marathon route has been adjusted to exclude running on the Rama VIII Bridge, focusing more on city running. Registration opens on July 1 at 10:00 AM at the website Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2026
